“Trans Magazine” is the first magazine dedicated to the transgender community in Albania.
This publication aims to increase the visibility and awareness toward the transgender community in Albania and support the ProLGBT’s project “Getting Human Rights into the News”, supported by Civil Rights Defenders.
“Trans Magazine” contains practical information for the transgender community regarding Albanian legislation, myths and facts, advices from a social worker specialized on the issues of the LGBT community.
The magazine aims to encourage the transgender community in Albania, conveying personal stories of trans persons, a series of stories about the coming out moment and the profiles of the pioneers of transgender activism in history.
The magazine also features an entertaining session about activities, movies or profiles to be followed on social networks.
All the materials in the interior are created by the staff of the portal for human rights Historia Ime (My Story), and with the contribution of the transgender activists Lola and Serafina./A.A.
