The Netherlands Helsinki Committee in cooperation with the Albanian State Police, the Security Academy, and with the support of Aleanca LGBT and Pro-LGBT, has published today an informative brochure on policing crimes against the LGBTI + community and how police officers should react to tackle hate crimes and discrimination.
The information in this booklet is based on the Council of Europe Handbook “Policing Hate Crime against LGBTI People: Training for a Professional Police Response”.
This brochure was developed in collaboration with the Dutch Helsinki Committee (NHC) and the COC as part of the Matra program funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
