Lady Gaga sent gifts for homeless young LGBT people in Albania
Lady Gaga visited yesterday (December 9), The Albert Kennedy Trust Foundation to #ShareKindness with young LGBT people who have been made homeless just because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
As part of her Born This Way Foundation’s activity, Lady Gaga spent few hours with them, showing this way how important it is supporting homeless LGBT young people. She brought gifts and asked AKT to distribute to those in need.
Lucy Bowyer, AKT’s Supported Housing Manager, told Lady Gaga that part of her gifts will be sent for the young LGBT boys and girls in the STREHA shelter in Albania, making sure that her message #SharingKindness would reach the youth in Albania.
Mrs. Bowyer told her about the work of Kristi and Xheni and Lady Gaga asked to hear more about the work being done in Albania through the STREHA shelter and for the rights of LGBT young people.
The singer has joined the initiative #NoRoomForHate of The Albert Kennedy Trust Foundation, to come and help over 4800 young LGBT people that are homeless or live in dangerous environments./A.A.
