(VIDEO & FOTO) A serious incident towards LGBT activists in Albania
A group of activists from the three LGBT organizations in Albania (Alliance Against Discrimination, Pro LGBT and Pink Embassy/LGBT Pro) gathered in a peaceful protest in front of the Embassy of Macedonia supporting the gay activists of Macedonia and condemning the brutal attack against a gay activist in Macedonia.
This protest, the first one of this kind in Tirana was peaceful and in accordance with the Police, but soon after it finished while the group of activists was entering in a bar, a person around 25 years old approached them violently, spiting on their face and threatening them by live. He said: “Don’t go again in public cause I will kill of you”, “Hitler was right when he was killing people like you”, “look what the serbs did to people like you, we will do the same to you in Albania”, etc.
The activists managed to isolate him and keep him at the scene waiting for the police to come. Soon after that he was accompanied to the police station were Xheni Karaj and Kristi Pinderi signed criminal charges against him.
