Pro-LGBT and The LGBT Alliance, two of the country’s leading advocacy organizations for the LGBT + cause, announce the publication of the annual report on the situation of rights of the LGBTI community in Albania and the online media hate speech report .
Both reports come as a result of months of work led by our organizations and present the troubling situation that community individuals are forced to face in their daily lives.
In recent years there has unfortunately been a stagnation and somewhat deterioration in the respect of the rights of the LGBT + community in our country.
The report presents data on all cases of discrimination, violence, lack of institutional support and denial of services to LGBT + individuals.
The findings of the aforementioned reports lie at the heart of this year’s Pride Parade, where the emphasis is on the concept of community self-acceptance and social acceptance, as an added value to society and as citizens with equal rights to the rest of the population.
